Nuclear Neighbors BETA Cryptids
Cryptid Killer at 0 awards — an unsolved public-BETA hunt, not a fake walkthrough.
Cryptid Killer had 0 awards in our September 2026 research. That is the whole headline. Nuclear Neighbors BETA is a public BETA from Building Adventure on 20-player online servers, and this badge has not been granted. This page treats the hunt as unsolved. It will not publish a staircase, a bush, a time of day, or a sacrifice recipe that nobody has proven in-game.
Players still lump other neighbors into “cryptid” talk: Bats? nah friend (get the vampire friend, 1,058 awards) and Child of Radiation (2,635 awards). Those badges exist. People have them. They are related-adjacent names on this wiki, not confirmed steps. The cricket event Awkward.. also sits at 0 awards with a 10-cricket condition. Zero next to zero does not mean they are the same quest.
Rank the known threats on the Encounter Tier List Hub. Read creature basics on the players hub. If you came here from a screenshot titled “easy Cryptid Killer,” close it.
What 0 awards is allowed to mean
A zero can mean the content is broken in BETA. It can mean the condition is real and nobody has met it. It can mean the badge is hidden behind a bug, a disabled flag, or a future patch. We do not know which. Building Adventure’s own description says to expect bugs. Updates is where a later grant would show up in patch talk; the badge checklist is where the number gets logged.
What a zero is not allowed to mean on this wiki: “here is the route we invented so the article looks finished.”
If you think you completed Cryptid Killer, check the Roblox badge inventory in-game. If the stamp is not there, you did not complete it. Clips without the badge pop are atmosphere.
Related neighbors — not a quest chain
Bats? nah friend (1,058). Official text: get the vampire friend. Mid-rate B-tier event on encounter rankings. The word friend is a title, not a contract. Plenty of public-BETA players met this neighbor and lived, which is why the count is in four digits. That popularity is the opposite of Cryptid Killer’s zero. You can log Bats? nah friend while the killer badge stays empty. Do not feed the visitor your only food because a theory said blood unlocks a cryptid.
Child of Radiation (2,635). Common A-tier radiation neighbor. Even more awards than the vampire friend. If Cryptid Killer were “just beat the radiation child,” the killer badge would not be at zero while 2,635 people hold the child stamp. Grind the child if you want that badge. Do not grind it as a fake killer prerequisite.
Awkward.. (0, 10 crickets). Another unsolved or extremely strict condition. It is listed on the checklist beside Cryptid Killer because both are zeroes, not because they share a map marker. A 20-player lobby yelling about crickets will not fill a killer badge that has never fired.
Hatman (Get taken by Hatman, 1,616) and Skeleto (GET AWAY, 165). S-tier fail states with real award counts. They prove that lethal events in this BETA do grant badges when the condition is reachable. Cryptid Killer’s silence stands out next to those numbers. See Hatman and Skeleto when you need practical call-outs. Do not use those pages as cryptid steps.
How to hunt without lying to your server
Say the quiet part in chat: this badge has 0 awards. If the 20-player lobby still wants to look, treat it as a dedicated session on Normal, not a side objective on HARD 50 or DEADLY 5. Difficulty ranks exist so you do not throw a long run at an unsolved hunt. One Above All is also at 0; stacking two zeroes in one evening is how nights disappear.
Keep the bunker alive while you look. Food, hygiene, and toilet pests still exist. How to survive and encounters cover the events that actually fire. If the hunt starts costing days, stop. The public BETA will still be here after a patch.
Record what you tried. Record what did not fire the badge. That negative evidence is more useful than a confident lie. When a later snapshot shows Cryptid Killer above 0, this page should change. Until then, “unsolved” is the guide.
No official promo codes complete the hunt. Anyone pasting a string that “spawns the cryptid” is inventing a code. Codes stays empty of those strings. The spin wheel (2,540 awards) is a known reward loop. It is not a cryptid spawner.
Alien Saviors has 340 awards. That ending is documented enough to have a count. If your group came to this page looking for an ending, you may be in the wrong article. Saviors is a separate stamp.
What to tell a new player
If someone joins your 20-player bunker and asks how to get Cryptid Killer, tell them the truth: nobody in the September 2026 snapshot had it. Point them at getting started and at badges they can actually earn: Toilet troubles, First day jitters, Child of Radiation, Bats? nah friend. Let the unsolved hunt stay unsolved until the game proves otherwise.
Cryptids in this BETA are a rumor with a badge name. Bats? nah friend and the radiation child are real visits with real counts. Keep those sentences separate and you will waste fewer nights.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Nuclear Neighbors BETA players.
Has anyone gotten Cryptid Killer?
Not in our September 2026 research. The award count was 0. Treat the hunt as unsolved public-BETA content.
Is vampire friend required for Cryptid Killer?
Unproven. Bats? nah friend has 1,058 awards while Cryptid Killer has 0. Related-adjacent, not a verified step.
Is Child of Radiation the same hunt?
No. Child of Radiation has 2,635 awards. If they were the same condition, the counts would not disagree this hard.
Should I look for cryptids on DEADLY?
Not as a first plan. Use Normal, keep the bunker alive with how to survive, and read difficulty ranks before you throw a DEADLY run at a zero-award badge.
What about Awkward.. and 10 crickets?
Also 0 awards. Another unsolved or strict condition. Log it on the badge checklist. Do not merge it with Cryptid Killer without evidence.
